- CAD Designed Fully Boxed & Gusseted Fabricated Lower Control Arms for Ultimate Strength - Arched design provides additional +2.375 in. of ground clearance through center track vs. OEM without compromising strength - Race Proven Design - Maintains OEM wheel base & track width - TIG Welded Construction - Pre-Installed Nyloil® Bushings with CNC machined and Zinc coated sleeves and grease zerks - Epoxy Primer Base Coat for Added Durability and Corrosion Resistance - Custom Powder Coat Finish - Made in USA - Compatible with 1000R and 1000RS models - ***DOES NOT FIT 1000R 4 SEAT MACHINES*** - Powder Coating - - We started this project with a tubular design but quickly found once the “high clearance arch” was introduced to the component, it promoted a location for fatigue and bending in every FEA and real world test. Without tremendous amounts of additional bracing and use extremely heavy wall tubing (which created a VERY heavy component overall), it was not feasible to build these arms in a tubular style and achieve the required performance what we were aiming for. Plain and simple, the arched tube style lower control arms are weaker than your OEM control arm. - After testing several different types and styles of bushings (bearing, spherical, heim, multiple grades of plastic) we settled on Nyloil® Nylon. Nyloil® is self lubricating, has extremely low moisture absorption, offers enhanced wear properties and less friction versus other grades of nylon and plastic. Additionally, we include grease zerks on each bushing to aid in allowing the clean out of water and debris to increase the lifespan even more. Like any bushing or wear item, they do still have a life span and replacements are easy to swap and relatively inexpensive versus other options. Our bushing sleeve is CNC machined and Zinc Coated to offer corrosion resistance and prevent seizing to the mounting bolt.
