Terms & Conditions

Sales, Returns, Shipping & Customer Disputes. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through the SDPI website, including purchases of physical parts, components, equipment, accessories, tuning products, custom products, specialty orders, and other goods or services offered by SDPI (“SDPI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order with SDPI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. These Terms form part of the agreement between you and SDPI relating to your purchase.

1. All Sales Are Final

Unless otherwise expressly provided in these Terms, all sales are final and non-refundable.

Because many products offered by SDPI are specialty, performance, vehicle-specific, custom, or special-order products, SDPI does not accept returns or issue refunds solely because a customer changes their mind, orders the wrong product, determines that the product is no longer wanted, or otherwise changes their purchasing decision after an order has been placed.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, fitment information, vehicle/application information, quantities, options, and other order details before completing a purchase.

2. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Unsatisfactory Products

If a product is defective, damaged during shipping, materially different from what was ordered, missing components, or otherwise unsatisfactory, the customer must contact SDPI within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery.

SDPI will review the circumstances and, where appropriate, may replace the product or component, repair or correct the issue, coordinate a manufacturer warranty claim, provide a partial or full refund, or provide another reasonable resolution.

A refund is not automatically required or guaranteed simply because a product is reported as unsatisfactory. SDPI will evaluate each situation individually.

This 30-day resolution period does not create a general right to return merchandise or cancel an order.

3. Notice of Damage or Shipping Issues

Customers should inspect packages and products promptly upon delivery.

If a package arrives visibly damaged, customers should photograph the package and contents before discarding packaging and notify SDPI as soon as reasonably possible.

Claims involving damaged, missing, or incorrect merchandise must be reported within the thirty (30) day period above.

SDPI may request photographs, videos, packaging information, shipping documentation, serial numbers, or other information reasonably necessary to investigate a claim.

4. Specialty, Custom, and Special-Order Products

All specialty, custom, vehicle-specific, personalized, modified, configured, or special-order products are final sale and are not eligible for cancellation or return solely because the customer changes their mind or no longer wants the product.

If a specialty or custom product arrives damaged, defective, materially incorrect, or otherwise fails to conform to the order, the customer must notify SDPI within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery. SDPI will review the issue and may provide replacement, repair, manufacturer warranty assistance, or a refund at SDPI's discretion.

5. Tuning and Digital Products

Custom calibration and tuning products are generally final sale and are not refundable solely because the customer changes their mind, changes their vehicle or modifications, or decides not to use the product.

Where SDPI's applicable tuning or revision policy provides for revisions or corrections, those services will be handled under the applicable policy.

Nothing in this section limits SDPI's obligation to address a legitimate failure to deliver the product purchased or another material fulfillment issue.

6. Manufacturer Warranties

Many physical products sold by SDPI are manufactured by third parties and may be subject to the manufacturer's warranty.

Where applicable, SDPI will assist the customer in pursuing a manufacturer's warranty claim. Manufacturer warranty terms, exclusions, limitations, and procedures may apply.

A manufacturer's warranty does not automatically create a right to a refund from SDPI.

7. Shipping and Order Processing

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, at checkout, in a written agreement, or otherwise agreed before purchase, SDPI generally processes and ships physical product orders within 24–48 hours after the order is placed.

The 24–48 hour period refers to order processing and shipment by SDPI and does not necessarily represent delivery time.

Actual delivery times depend upon the shipping method, carrier, destination, product availability, freight requirements, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside SDPI's reasonable control.

Certain products, including oversized, freight, special-order, presale, manufacturer-direct, or products requiring additional preparation, may require additional processing time.

Any specific shipping or fulfillment timeframe agreed to in writing by SDPI before purchase will control over the general 24–48 hour processing timeframe.

8. Contractual or Net Payment Terms

Customers with established contractual, commercial, fleet, wholesale, business-to-business, or other payment terms with SDPI may be subject to different payment, fulfillment, and shipping terms.

Where SDPI and the customer have entered into a separate written agreement establishing Net terms, credit terms, purchase-order terms, or other contractual payment arrangements prior to purchase, those written terms will control to the extent they conflict with these general website Terms.

Absent a separate written agreement, all website purchases require payment at the time of purchase.

9. Order Cancellations

An order may be processed for fulfillment immediately after purchase.

Customers should contact SDPI as soon as possible if an order was placed incorrectly. Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that an order can be cancelled.

If an order has already been processed, ordered from a manufacturer, specially configured, shipped, or otherwise committed by SDPI, the order may not be cancellable.

Any cancellation approved by SDPI is made case-by-case and may be subject to applicable manufacturer, supplier, shipping, or processing charges.

10. Customer Responsibility for Product Selection

The customer is responsible for confirming that a product is appropriate for the customer's vehicle, equipment, application, intended use, and configuration before purchasing.

SDPI may assist with product selection, but the customer remains responsible for confirming compatibility and suitability unless SDPI has expressly agreed in writing to provide a specific fitment determination.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to these Terms and acknowledges SDPI's all-sales-final policy and limited 30-day resolution process.

Before initiating a credit-card chargeback, payment dispute, or other payment reversal, customers are requested to contact SDPI and provide an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

A customer should not initiate a chargeback simply because the customer changed their mind, no longer wants the product, ordered incorrectly, or seeks a return not permitted under these Terms.

If a customer believes a charge is incorrect, unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise legitimately disputed, the customer retains rights provided by applicable law and the customer's card issuer.

If a chargeback is initiated, SDPI may provide the payment processor, card network, financial institution, or other applicable party with relevant transaction records, including the order, product or service purchased, transaction details, authorization/payment records, these Terms, refund policies, shipping and delivery records, tracking information, customer communications, photographs, and fulfillment records.

12. No Duplicate Recovery

A customer may not receive both a refund or other financial credit from SDPI and a successful chargeback or payment reversal for the same transaction.

If a customer receives a refund, credit, replacement, or other financial resolution and subsequently receives a chargeback or payment reversal for the same transaction, SDPI reserves the right to seek recovery of the duplicate amount to the extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of Refunds

Except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to by SDPI in writing, the remedies described in these Terms are the customer's exclusive remedies for products that are damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise unsatisfactory.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, limit, or eliminate rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SDPI shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of use, downtime, towing expenses, labor costs, loss of business, or other consequential losses arising from the purchase, installation, use, misuse, modification, or failure of a product.

This limitation does not apply to liabilities that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

15. Performance Products and Customer Use

Many products sold by SDPI are performance-oriented products intended for specialized applications.

The customer is responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for the intended use and for ensuring installation and use are performed properly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Improper installation, misuse, modification, abuse, racing or competition use, or use outside the manufacturer's or SDPI's stated specifications may affect warranty coverage and may result in product failure.

16. Governing Terms

These Terms, together with applicable product-specific terms, written agreements, invoices, or other written terms expressly incorporated into the customer's purchase, constitute the terms governing the transaction.

If a separate written agreement expressly conflicts with these website Terms, the separate written agreement will control for that transaction.

17. Changes to These Terms

SDPI may update these Terms from time to time.

The Terms applicable to a purchase will be the Terms presented to and accepted by the customer at the time the order is placed, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.

18. Customer Acknowledgment

By placing an order through the SDPI website, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

1. The purchase is subject to these Terms and Conditions; 2. All sales are final unless a specific exception in these Terms applies; 3. The customer has a limited 30-day period following delivery to notify SDPI of damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise legitimately unsatisfactory merchandise; 4. SDPI may determine the appropriate resolution of a legitimate product issue, including replacement, repair, manufacturer warranty assistance, partial refund, full refund, or another reasonable resolution; 5. Custom, specialty, vehicle-specific, and special-order products are final sale, subject to the protections expressly provided in these Terms and applicable law; 6. General order processing for physical products is generally 24–48 hours unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing before purchase; 7. Separate written Net terms or other contractual payment arrangements agreed to before purchase may control; and 8. The customer is responsible for reviewing product, fitment, application, shipping, and payment information before completing the transaction.

BY CLICKING “PLACE ORDER,” “SUBMIT ORDER,” “COMPLETE PURCHASE,” OR ANY SIMILAR PURCHASE BUTTON, OR BY OTHERWISE COMPLETING A PURCHASE THROUGH THE SDPI WEBSITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Lawful Use and Site Rules

SDPI products and calibrations are sold for lawful use only. You are responsible for ensuring any part or calibration you order is legal for your vehicle and jurisdiction, including federal, state and local emissions requirements. SDPI does not sell or support products intended to defeat emissions controls.

All prices are in USD. We work to keep the catalog accurate; if a listing error affects your order we'll contact you before proceeding. Orders may be cancelled and refunded where we cannot fulfill them.

You're responsible for the accuracy of information submitted with tune orders (VIN, calibration number, mods). Incorrect information delays calibration and can produce a file that won't load.
