Warranty Policy
What's covered, what isn't, and who covers it.
Physical products
Most parts SDPI sells are covered by their manufacturer's warranty. We'll help you start a manufacturer claim, but the manufacturer's terms control coverage.
SDPI does not provide an independent warranty beyond the manufacturer's unless expressly stated on the product page.
Tune files
We stand behind our calibrations: if a file doesn't load or behave as specified for the combination you reported, we'll correct it under the revision policy at no charge.
Calibration changes cannot be warranted against mechanical failure. Engine and drivetrain components are mechanical systems operating under increased load; SDPI is not responsible for mechanical damage, consequential damage, towing, downtime or related costs.
Effect on factory warranty
Installing performance parts or modified calibrations may affect your factory warranty. That risk is the owner's to weigh — ask us if you're unsure.
